Functional electrostimulation through a sequence of muscle tensions enables the performance of complex movements. To prepare the exercise, place the indicated electrodes on the appropriate muscles, according to the instructions in the illustration.

The aim of this exercise is an extension of the shoulder and support on the edge of the bed (elbow and wrist extended). Before the treatment the EMG calibration is needed. The whole sequence of movement starts when wrist extensors are above the threshold line followed by an elbow and shoulder extension.
