The game “Cosmic Mission” is based on EMG Biofeedback.
The patient’s task is to control the ship’s position to keep it on a designated path. Muscle contraction causes the ship to move upwards, while relaxation causes the ship to move downwards (the reverse is true for the “Invert” steering mode).
Two modules are available: strength and coordination. In the first, the path is simplified, requiring the patient to perform several dynamic movement repetitions. In the second, the path is more complex and requires greater control.
The game ends after the timer expires.
