The Sidra LEG is equipped with a spasticity detection mechanism.

The exercise settings include a “Maximum Force” parameter. The default value of 20 kg means that if the patient, due to increased muscle tension, generates an axial force exceeding 20 kg on the device, a message will be displayed. The robot will stop the exercise, and the device will enter active mode, allowing the patient to freely position their limb in a comfortable position.

After the message appears, the exercise can be restarted (if the patient’s symptoms have subsided) or terminated if further movement is impossible.
