CPM + EMG
The exercise is based on passive movement of the lower limb triggered by an EMG signal. It serves as a bridge between passive and active exercises. Thanks to EMG signal monitoring and the biofeedback phenomenon, this training engages the patient’s nervous system, even with minimal muscle activity.
The exercise can be performed in three modes:

Ankle joint

Knee joint

Synchronized movement of the knee and ankle joints
Key feature:
Reactive electromyography guarantees the patient’s active participation in the training. It is based on the following parameters:

Threshold (Triggering threshold): The activation threshold for the robot’s movement. Selected during calibration, it represents a percentage value (modifiable, 50% by default) of the patient’s MVC (Maximum Voluntary Contraction). Exceeding this threshold initiates the device’s movement.

Triggering methods:

Trigger & Release: The patient generates a brief activity above the threshold to trigger the robot’s movement through the full, programmed range.

Trigger & Hold: The patient must trigger the movement above the specified threshold and maintain appropriate muscle tension throughout the entire duration of the movement.
