The new version of EGZOClinic is now available! We have just released the new v.1.8.0, and it can be installed on the Sidra LEG / Meissa OT / Stella BIO devices using the standard update procedure.
Update Availability
Today, we are rolling out the latest EGZOClinic system update for the Sidra LEG, Meissa OT, and Stella BIO devices!
To ensure the implementation process runs completely safely and smoothly, the new software version will be released gradually over a period of about 2 weeks, depending on your location (starting with users within 500 km of the EGZOTech headquarters, and then expanding further).
COMMON CHANGES (for all devices)
Greater comfort and therapy personalization:
- Creating custom programs: The ability to save programs with modified parameters (e.g., EMS course and length, or overall duration) as your own separate therapy programs.
- Flexibility during sessions: From now on, you can change movement parameters (active direction of movement/strain gauge) and extend the exercise time directly on the screen while it is being performed (applies to Sidra LEG / Meissa OT). We have also added the option to recalibrate force and range of motion in games without interrupting the session.
- Exercise fluidity: We have introduced the ability to continue an exercise after clicking the “Stop” button, and we have secured the system against accidentally exiting the configuration or the exercise itself (by clicking the return arrow or the EGZOTech logo).
Safety and diagnostics:
- Diagnostic messages: If an irregularity is detected, the system will now display a clear message about potential damage to the EMG cable.
- EMG training: We have added a “wait for relaxation” function in EMG-triggered exercises.
- New naming convention: To unify our terminology, the previous “safe/doctor’s range” (zakres bezpieczny/lekarza) has been changed to “absolute limit range” (zakres nieprzekraczalny).
- Account security: We have introduced protection against creating duplicate accounts using the same email address (case sensitivity no longer matters) and added a convenient option to reset user passwords via email.
System performance:
- Significantly reduced game loading times.
- Fixed minor system bugs, which translates to even greater software stability.
DEDICATED CHANGES FOR SIDRA LEG
- Simplified CPM and CPM+EMG exercise configuration process: We have reduced the number of screens and simplified the configuration workflow. We removed the need to select the exercised side during calibration, added the option to skip entering the thigh length, and combined the range of motion setting screens (for both the absolute limit range and passive range) into a single screen.
- Quick access: We have introduced direct access to range of motion and MVC recalibration right from the exercise screen.
- Parameter division: For greater clarity, we have divided parameters into Basic and Advanced categories.
- Optimization: We increased the operating speed of the ankle module and restricted muscle display to align with the device’s intended use (displaying only the right side, with no upper limb muscles shown).
DEDICATED CHANGES FOR MEISSA OT
- Force recalibration: We have added the ability to recalibrate force directly during a CPM+Force exercise.
DEDICATED CHANGES FOR STELLA BIO
- New voice command: In the Polish language version, the previous command “szybki skurcz” (quick contraction) has been replaced by a shorter and more intuitive phrase: “napnij” (flex).
- Power management: We have introduced an optimization that restricts the launch of EMS programs if the Stella device’s battery level drops below 30% – this ensures full operational stability and uninterrupted therapy comfort.
