The PAIN module includes TENS programs: Conventional, Burst, Acupuncture, and Frequency modulated. TENS relieves pain by selectively stimulating nerve fibers, which leads to inhibition of pain transmission at the peripheral and spinal levels, according to the gate control theory, and increases the release of endorphins—the body’s natural painkillers. Furthermore, the module includes a user-defined program that allows for individual adjustment of treatment parameters.

The PAIN and PELVIC modules are the only ones that enable work with the use of vaginal and rectal electrodes.
