Games configuration
Stella BIO features 10 games designed to diversify the therapy process. Thanks to the available settings and varied difficulty levels, they can be flexibly adapted to each patient’s capabilities.
1. Duration / Target Score
The exercise duration can be controlled in various ways, depending on the therapeutic needs.
Time-dependent – a specific exercise duration is assigned to each of the available game levels.
Available in:
-
Cosmic Mission
- Ocean Paradise
- Elevator Express
- Parkour Fever
Time- or target-dependent – each game level specifies a set exercise duration or a particular goal for the patient to achieve (e.g., a target score).
Available in:
- Slice and Dice
- Brick Pirates
- Rope-Nope
- Cat Crunch
- Doggo Nom
- Burger Mania.
2. Exercise Mode and Game Customization
The more demanding games, namely Cosmic Mission and Ocean Paradise, allow you to choose between two types of training:
-
Strength – the movement path is more regular. It requires the patient to repeat a similar movement multiple times in a full range of motion, within one or several sets.
-
Coordination – the movement path is more complex and variable throughout the entire range of motion. It requires the patient to have greater muscle control.
Additionally, these games offer a wider range of customization options to better fit the patient’s capabilities:
-
Cosmic Mission: path width, ship speed, presence of an opponent, time
-
Ocean Paradise: number of lives and game duration.
3. Channel Control Customization
In selected games, it is possible to define the direction of movement for a specific EMG channel:
Available in:
- Cat Crunch
- Doggo Nom
