Preparing the device before positioning the patient
After measuring the patient’s thigh length, transfer the measured value to the rails on both sides of the device. It is recommended to first align the knee axis in flexion. This will facilitate adjustment and ensure user safety.
Next, to adjust the thigh length, simultaneously pull out both white handles. A centimeter scale engraved on the rails facilitates this process. Once the desired length is set, release the handles and ensure the locking latches are properly engaged.
The lower leg section should be pre-adjusted to a slightly longer length than required. To do this, pull back and turn the black knobs to unlock the rails. Finally, after the patient’s limb is positioned on the device, the lower leg section should be shortened, adjusted, and locked again.
