Electrode placement - lower limb

The photos show the location of the electrodes for electrostimulation. In order:

  • Quadriceps femoris,
  • Vastus lateralis (red), rectus femoris (blue) and vastus medialis (green),
  • Tibialis anterior,
  • Biceps femoris,
  • Biceps femoris – global taping,
  • Triceps surae,
  • Gastrocnemius (lateral and medial heads) and soleus,
  • Peroneus longus

The photos show the location of the electrodes for EMG. In order:

  • Quadriceps femoris muscle (red – vastus lateralis, blue – rectus femoris, yellow – vastus medialis)
  • Biceps femoris muscle
  • Muscles of the lower leg (red – tibialis anterior, blue – peroneus longus, yellow – peroneus brevis
  • Muscles of the lower leg (red – soleus, blue – fibularis longus)
  • Gastrocnemius muscle (red – gastrocnemius medialis, blue – gastrocnemius lateralis)
